Big Project (PART 4)

Travel costs!

This is part 4 of my big project, my task was to find out how much it would cost to take care of a horse at 3 different stables there were 5 different tasks you had to do including:
- Farrier (DONE)
- Vets (DONE)
- Insurance (DONE)
- Travel costs (THIS BLOG)
 And Livery costs

Now we have established the topic of tonight's second blog (tomorrow is my deadline meaning tomorrow will be the last blog of this big project) we can go on to elaborate on what it means because I'm sure a lot of you are probably confused by this one, what my dad meant by travel costs is the cost of travel to get to the stables and back each week (7 days) from Gateshead, low fell - the stables by 3 different modes of transport!

North lizard riding school!

On Metro, it would cost £9.10 per week for a day ticket every day!
On the bus with a pop card, it would cost £7.70 per week for a day ticket every day!
On the bus without a pop card, it would cost £12.50 per week for a day ticket every day!
In a car, it would be approximately £903 every week for fuel of a milage 177.8 miles every week to go there and back every day!

Westacres stable!

It will be the same price for on the bus and the metro because Westacres stable is only a couple of miles away! so it means that fuel won't be too much less!

Murton equestrian centre!

Murton equestrian centre is in Sunderland so the metro fare would be the same!
The bus fare would also be the same because you bus fares are usually the same depending on where you go!
The cost of fuel for a full week would not work and since my deadline is today and I still had one more blog to write I will just say it is also the same as that is what it came up with on the website i used!
